SECONDHAND BOOK
Tyntyndyer Homestead is located on the bank of the Murray River 16 kms from Swan Hill. Built by the Beveridge family in 1846, five generations of Holloways have lived there and members of that family are still in occupation today. Much of Victoria’s history has been reflected in the history of the station, and those who have lived there. The overlanders, explorers, squatters and selectors, the coaches and paddlesteamers, rabbits and fences, shepherds and blacksmiths are all a part of the Homestead’s history.
