Description
SECOND HAND BOOK
Samuel Anderson (1803-1863) immigrated in 1830 from Scotland (via London) to Circular Head, Tasmania, and in 1835 moved to Western Port, Victoria. He was joined by his brother Hugh in 1838, and by his brother Thomas in 1842. Descendants and relatives lived in Victoria and elsewhere. The opening chapters deal with the history of the area before colonization (chiefly from narratives of explorers and sealers).
