(Bill) Koenig in 1933 and Ambrose Curtis in 1964, with a comprehensive history of the years 1933 to 1984, into one volume titled COAST TO COUNTRY: Winchelsea, A History of the Shire. Additional historical information has been added to the works of Bill Koenig and Ambrose Curtis and, together with over 150 photographs includes references to hundreds of individual, family and property names.
COAAST TO COUNTRY records the history of the Aboriginals and early settlers, the formation of the Shire, through to current day events and developments. The book covers the Shire of Winchelsea from the coast to the country; from Lorne through to Deans Marsh, Pennyroyal, Murroon, Barwon Downs, Birregurra and Winchelsea.
