Open House Melbourne – July 30^th & 31^st

The Brighton Cemetery is over 160 years old and full of notable people that made Melbourne memorable: Sir John Monash; Carlo Catani – Civil Engineer; Charles Ogg, Architect; George Frederick Ballantyne, Architect; and William Guilfoyle, Landscape Gardener and Botanist are but a few of the many people who lie resting within the walls of the cemetery. A self-paced walk around the notable internments and a short formal tour led by the Brighton Cemetorians are available on both Saturday and Sunday.  Short Guided Tours at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm on both days.
