FRIENDS OF ST KILDA CEMETERY AGM AND TALK
Come and join us at the Friends of St Kilda Cemetery AGM and hear Susan Grant speak on Joseph Panton, Police Magistrate, Goldfields Commissioner and artist.
Susan Grant is a committee member of the Flinders District Historical Society and the Port Phillip Pioneer Group. Her fascination with Panton started with her interest in his land holdings in Flinders. Panton was a goldfields commissioner, police magistrate, geologist, winemaker, explorer, land speculator, pastoralist, and artist. He is buried in the St Kilda Cemetery.
