As part of the South Australian History Festival, Genealogy SA presents Michael Bollen, head publisher at Wakefield Press, a local publisher well known for publishing history books, especially books relating to South Australia. How does this small private company work? What sorts of manuscripts do they accept and what do they look for in family history submissions?
Michael Bollen has been director and publisher at Wakefield Press since 1989. He has worked across all areas of this small busy firm, from commissioning, through editing and working with designers and printers, to publicity, sales, marketing and admin.
Free for Genealogy SA members, $15 for non-members.
