This wooden rectangular timber Victorian Carpenter Gothic on Tyers Street was built in 1856 to a design by J. H. W. Pettit and George Hastings.
It was reputedly the first church in Gippsland and is a rare surviving example of drop slab construction, with the building being constructed without the use of nails.

GS-ICD-41; Jack's Creek, near Yan Yean; Law, Robert, 1870-1930.; Image shows low tree ferns and other shrubbery bordering Jack's Creek gushing down the centre of the photo over rocks and shelves in the creek.
Part of the Yan Yean Water Supply System and Victorian Heritage Register. The Toorourrong Reservoir was formed by a dam across the eastern branch of the Plenty River below the junction with Jacks Creek.

This aircraft came onto the Australian register in 1946 as VH-TAD.
It entered service with TAA in November 1946 and was given the name "McDouall Stuart". It operated its final service with TAA in 1959 and was sold overseas. It was used by various operators until withdrawn from use in 1965.
