T. Aubrey Bpwen was one of the founders of ophthalmology in Victoria, Frederick William Haddon was a journalist and editor of the Argus, Marcus Clarke was a novelist, journalist and poet. In 1868 they formed the Yorick Club, a meeting place for literary men.
One of many glass slides purchased from retailers or specifically made for illustrated lectures given by Isaac Selby between c. 1930 and c. 1955 to raise money for the Old Pioneers Memorial Fund.
