About this objectGlass slide of a photograph of a tree stump converted into a stable, used by settlers in the Gippsland area. This image shows a man standing beside the tree stump in a bushland setting. The tree stump has pieces of timber on the top providing a roof. There is a horse with straps on standing at the doorway. In the background there is a separate timber dwelling.
One of many glass slides purchased from retailers or specifically made for illustrated lectures given by Isaac Selby between c. 1930 and c. 1955 to raise money for the Old Pioneers Memorial Fund.
