About this objectGlass slide that depicts a residential dwelling, occupied by settlers in the Gippsland area. This image shows the slab and bark hut in a bushland setting. There are crops in the foreground that the settlers are trying to grow. A man with a bucket in his hand, is standing beside the crops. A second man is standing at the entrance to the farmhouse.
One of many glass slides purchased from retailers or specifically made for illustrated lectures given by Isaac Selby between c. 1930 and c. 1955 to raise money for the Old Pioneers Memorial Fund.
