Frank Ruth was born at Swift’s Creek in 1916 and spent most of his childhood at Boisdale. As a Catholic Priest he served throughout Gippsland until his retirement to Cowwarr. Along the way he walked and delighted in the glorious bush and mountains of Gippsland – his Home Ground. This memoir contains over 100 pages of anecdotes from Ruth’s life in Gippsland.
