“Old Hawthorn, Fresh Eyes’ by Hawthorn Historical Society

This exhibition provides new ways of looking at the historical narrative of Hawthorn and the familiar places around us. There are stories about the lives of people, or ordinary and extraordinary events, and of the changing ways of social involvement, which reflects not only what we were, but what we are now. We encourage visitors to think, to participate and share their own social stories.
