RHSV Catalogue

The first stage of a project to publish the catalogues of the RHSV online includes a selection of records from the RHSV Library as well as records from the Images collection and the Manuscripts collection. The RHSV Catalogue currently contains 39,500 records.

Treasures of the RHSV

A grant from The Ian Potter Foundation has enabled the RHSV to begin digitising a selection of items from the image collection, some of which will be made available online as Treasures of the RHSV.

RHSV Podcasts

A grant from the Telematics Trust has enabled the RHSV to begin recording a selection of lectures held throughout the year as well as other audio files to make available online as RHSV Podcasts.

1891 Woman's Suffrage Petition

As part of the celebrations of 150 years of Parliament in Victoria, members of the RHSV and the Genealogical Society of Victoria transcribed more than 28,000 names and addresses of women who signed a petition in 1891 requesting the right to have the vote in Victoria.

The petition index and pdf files of petition pages can now be searched online.

An index to the papers of the Superindent of the Port Phillip District Inward Correspondence Files between 1839 and July 1851 held at the Public Records Office of Victoria. The index was prepared by Jack McRae
